Welcome to WeHelpToUnderstand.com (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, online courses, and services. By accessing or using our site, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.


1. Purpose of the Website

WeHelpToUnderstand.com provides continuing education (CE) courses for interpreters, including Haitian Creole court interpreters. Our virtual classes are delivered via Zoom and are eligible for CE units through approved bodies.


2. Eligibility

To register for a course, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Provide accurate personal information

  • Have a valid email address to receive Zoom links and certificates

  • Have access to a device capable of joining Zoom


3. Course Enrollment

When you enroll in a CE course, you agree that:

  • You will receive a Zoom link via email before the class

  • You are responsible for attending on time

  • You may be required to participate or stay for the full duration to receive CE credit

  • CE certificates will be issued only upon completion of all course requirements


4. Tuition & Payment

  • Tuition for each class is $75.00 unless otherwise stated.

  • Payments are processed securely through PayPal or another third-party payment provider.

  • We do not store credit card or banking details on our website.

All tuition payments are non-refundable.


5. Rescheduling Policy

Although tuition is non-refundable, students may reschedule one time to a future class date if:

  • They notify us at least 24 hours before the original class start time, and

  • Seats are available in the next session

Failure to attend without prior notice is considered a no-show and is not eligible for rescheduling.


6. Non-Refundable Policy

All sales are final.
There are no refunds for:

  • Missed classes

  • Late log-in

  • Technical issues on the student’s end

  • Scheduling conflicts

  • Change of personal circumstances

Please ensure you are available and have a stable internet connection before enrolling.


7. Zoom Access & Technology Requirements

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your device, camera, microphone, and internet are working

  • Joining class on time

  • Keeping your login link secure

  • Not sharing your Zoom link with others

Unauthorized sharing of Zoom access may result in removal without CE credit or refund.


8. CE Certificates

CE certificates are:

  • Issued electronically

  • Sent to the email you used during enrollment

  • Provided only after full attendance and completion

  • The responsibility of the student to download and store

We are not responsible for lost, deleted, or undeliverable certificates.


9. User Conduct

By using our website or attending our classes, you agree not to:

  • Share course materials without permission

  • Record any portion of the class, unless we state otherwise

  • Engage in disruptive behavior

  • Impersonate another person

  • Misrepresent your identity or qualifications

Violation of these rules may result in removal from the course without refund.


10. Intellectual Property

All course materials—including slides, PDFs, videos, graphics, text, and logos—are the property of WeHelpToUnderstand.com and its instructors.

You may not:

  • Copy

  • Reproduce

  • Distribute

  • Share

  • Sell

  • Upload

  • Claim authorship of

any materials without prior written consent.


11. Limitation of Liability

WeHelpToUnderstand.com is not liable for:

  • Internet outages

  • Device failures

  • Inability to access Zoom

  • Errors or delays caused by third-party platforms (Zoom, PayPal, email services)

  • Your use or misuse of course content

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific course.


12. No Legal Advice Provided

Although the courses relate to interpreting within legal settings, we do not provide legal advice.
All educational content is for professional development only.


13. Privacy Policy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.


14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
Changes will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
